Dr. Tyanne Sylvestre is a graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic. Her clinical internship was completed at the Life University outpatient clinic as well as the university's rehabilitation and outreach clinics both located in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Sylvestre's areas of clinical interest are neurological dysfunction, nutrition and sport injury management. She brings additional expertise to Durham Chiropractic with her specialized knowledge in nutrition in conjunction with women's health issues. Throughout her high school and college sports careers playing hockey, Dr. Sylvestre personally experienced injury often and enjoyed the effects of quick healing from chiropractic care and proper nutritional counseling, so much so that she chose chiropractic as a career. In addition to her practice, Tyanne enjoys reading, cooking and exercising, spending time with her girlfriends, and coaching as well as participating in outdoor activities with her husband, children and extended family.
Dr. Joel Mullins is a graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic. His clinical internship was completed at the Life University outpatient clinic in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Mullins has a heart for families having seen patients of all ages from 86 years old to newborns. He has a passion for sports, competing in soccer, swimming, and rugby. Dr. Mullins participation in sports while in college gained him first-hand knowledge of the effect chiropractic care and proper nutrition has on the function and performance of the human body. In addition to his practice, Joel participates in men's softball league, enjoys cooking and is an avid soccer and college football fan. Both doctors at Durham Chiropractic have an enthusiasm for alternative methods in healthcare that naturally has grown from a vested interest in the care of their patients and respect for their own bodies' natural healing capabilities. Both Dr. Mullins and Dr. Sylvestre focus on improvement of health through a holistic structural approach to the body in conjunction with the awareness that environmental and nutritional factors greatly influence one's health. "To be healthier than you've ever been, you must do something you've never done" is the motto of the practice. Tyanne and Joel are actively involved in the family ministry at their church. They have two young children and currently reside in Newmarket, NH.
